 How to Prepare

Pre heat oven to 180 degrees.

Whip butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add the eggs one by one and stir well.

Mix flour, salt and spices together. In turns add the flour mix and milk to the butter mix and stir until smooth.

Add 2/3 of the cake mix to a 24 cm cake tin. Add the cocoa powder to the rest of the cake mix. Add the cocoa cake mix on top of the one in the tin and create light and dark shapes by using a fork. Don't mix them together as they are meant to create a pattern. Leave in oven for 45 minutes.

Icing/frosting:

The cake will need to be cool before making the icing.

Stir the butter until soft, mix in icing sugar, cocoa powder and coffee, stir well.

When the cake is cool cut it mid ways in half and add some milk to both surfaces as to keep the cake moist. Add a layer of the icing/frosting on the first half and add the remaining half on top. Cover the cake with the rest of the icing.

Mmmm......beautiful!! Enjoy:)
