 FORUM: pasta well done
 I just put on the pasta and forgot to check it, well lets just say that it was well done. Bloated and very soft..... meaning of this story is if you have things on the stove try to remember its there, I guess it goes without saying.... nevermind :)

 Ingredients

Scandinavian Scones with Cream and Berries Recipe

50 gr butter
1,5 dl milk
Dry or fresh yeast
0,5 dl sugar
1/4 ts salt
1/2 ts cardamom
5 dl white flour
Pinch icing sugar

1,5 dl fresh cream
1/2 tbs sugar
1/4 ts vanilla sugar (or vanilla essence)

Berries of your liking(strawberries, black berries, raspberries etc)

 How to Prepare

Melt the butter in a saucepan and add the milk. When the milk mix is about luke warm add the yeast and let dissolve.
Add sugar, salt and the spices to the milk mix, when dissolved add the flour and knead gently until smooth.

Preheat oven to 200 degrees.

Add a cloth on top of the bowl and leave until double the dough size.

Pat dough into a 2 cm thick round. Using a 5 cm (diameter) round cutter, cut out 5 rounds.

Leave the scones on a baking tray with a cloth to cover for about 20 - 30 minutes.

Bake in oven for about 7 -15 minutes or until golden.

Add the cream, sugar and vanilla sugar in a bowl, whip until thick and soft.

Cut the scones in half, add cream and fresh berries on the bottom half add the top half and dust with some icing sugar.
