200g Lasagna pasta

500g Minced beef

2 tabs oil

2 chopped onions

2 cloves crushed garlic

1 tea spoon oregano
-
1 tea spoon basil

1 tea spoon majoam

1 tea spoon

half cup tomato paste
-
half cup water
-
2 table spoons flour
-
half cup instant milk powder
-
2 Cups water
-
1 small egg
-
half cup grated cheese |

to Prepare |

Cook pasta in boiling salted water approximately 13 minutes

Drain and keep separate

Fry beef in oil with onion, garlic and herbs for approx 7 minutes or until brown

Add tomato paste and half cup water, cover and cook for 10 minutes
-
Place flour and milk powder into a saucepan and blend with 2 cups of water, stir till sauce boils and thickens
-
Season, add beaten egg and simmer 1 minute
-
Arrange in shallow ovenware dish some pasta, half meat mixture and half the sauce
-
Cover with remaining pasta, meat and sauce, top with grated cheese and bake in moderate oven for 35 minutes. |
